1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Chalks ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. One account may be associated with one coaching organisation at a time.
3. Coaching Organisations
Coaching organisations on Chalks are independent entities that use the Platform to deliver educational content. Chalks provides the technology platform; the coaching is responsible for its content, teaching quality, and student outcomes.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed through Razorpay. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Chalks subscription plans and add-on packs are billed on a recurring or one-time basis as described at checkout. All sales are final — see our Refund Policy for details. For batch enrollments and courses sold by coaching organisations, refund policies are set by those organisations; contact the coaching first, then reach out to us at support@chalks.app.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
Educational content (questions, tests, class recordings, study materials) is owned by the respective coaching organisations or content creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any content from the Platform without explicit permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: share your account credentials, attempt to access other users' data, use automated tools to scrape content, cheat on tests or assessments, or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
7. Test Integrity
Tests and assessments on Chalks are timed and monitored. Any form of cheating, screen sharing, or using unfair means may result in disqualification and account suspension at the coaching's discretion.
8. Limitation of Liability
Chalks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Chalks in the preceding 12 months.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
